Batfarm is in the studio this week to record ournewest song, “Snake”! Alexx will be tracking lead vocals and hopefully some harmonies as well if time permits! Be sure to keep up with the recording process on the Batfarm IG!

This month, we were hard at work tracking some guitars and drums for our song “Now That You’re Gone”, which we actually wrote together over 10 years ago. The song is an extremely heartfelt ballad about the aftermath of a suicide. We also brought in the very accomplished pianist/arranger, Charlie Sydnor to add some piano throughout the song, and Keith Brinkley to play bass. Fun fact: Keith’s part was done remotely. Keith actually recorded it in San Jose with Jerry Ososkie at J31 Studios. We watched via Skype! Gotta love modern technology.

So we’ve been hard at work on “Get Out”. This one is super funky and high energy, so we recruited our
longtime friend and total badass, Keith Brinkley to play bass on the track at J31 Studios in San Jose. Keith and Dennis played in bands for many years when Dennis lived in the Bay Area, and they just gel unbelievably together. You gotta hear this one!
